The Ferrari Garage
Motor Houses’ Garageology series features garages from small DIY home spaces to ultra high end masterpieces. And everything in-between.
In this installment, we take a look at a Ferrari themed garage designed by Mont Hartman.
The attention to details is incredible. From the stone walls, arched openings and windows, to the tiled floor and the old world styled metalwork. It definitely gives off the vibe of an old Italian vila.
“We created a lower area to park his cars with the old Italy feel, then moving into the loft we transitioned to a contemporary Italy. This project was lots of fun!”
Notice the fabric panels in the loft space. Something you might see in an outdoor courtyard and a creative way to hide the buildings ceiling.
Ferrari themed artwork is throughout the space. Some of it displayed in window frames and backlit adding light and a glow to the garage.
The large Ferrari sign looks great, which could have been from a Ferrari dealership of some type? And the amazing huge full wall tromp l’oeil painting of an italian country road helps adds to the old world charm and gives the feeling of more space.
To top off the man cave, there is a barbecue grill inside, along with a urinal in the bathroom. Pretty much completes what I’d want in my ideal space.
Motor House is always looking for Garages to feature. Spaces with collections, interesting design or builds. Places of history, carriage houses, unique storage solutions, wood & metal working shops, home gyms, bars, motorsports facilities and places that are perfect for the garage hang.
So get in touch with us if you know of something that we should feature. Thanks!
