Sema Show 2021 highlights
Car Show, Hoonigan, Sema, Sema Show, Trucks, hotrods, imports
The Sema Show was finally back in 2021 after not having a show in 2020 due to the Pandemic. It was a bit smaller, as some of the overseas exhibitors and attendees weren’t there, but it was still a great show!

2021 Sema Show Stand Outs
There were so many outstanding vehicles at the Sema Show. But I wanted to showcase a few that were some of my favorites.
Brian Scotto’s custom Audi CQ
I can relate to Brian’s 17-year project build as I have had a few projects laying around over the years.
But Brian was able to finish his Audi CQ hillclimb monster just in time to get it in the Toyo Tires booth for this years Sema. Well, Sema done that is.
Maniac’s Garage 1949 Ford/BMW chassis swap
This 1948 Ford Showbox isn’t just a chopped top build, but a full body swap, sitting on a 2008 BMW 335I chassis.
It’s a combo of an American iron look, combined with German engineering, mixed with JDM/ drift styling with the aero package.
Specs:
Red Suede Status racing seats
Lowered with coil springs
Doc Race manifold with a Garret Motion turbo and a JD4 Burger electronics capable of 700 HP
Pit & Paddock’s 1000HP Trans Am
Pit & Paddock had a booth filled with amazing cars… and coffee. It was their first year displaying at Sema and hosted a Cars & Coffee every morning.
This Trans Am at the Pit & Paddock booth was pretty wild.
It had a 1000Hp LSX V8, with a 10,000 rpm redline!
Hoonigan Burn Yard
The Hoonigan burn yard does not disappoint. They always have a variety of cars ready to destroy their tires, motors and even burn their body work down.
They had shows twice a day which could be heard and felt across the giant sprawling Sema tradeshow.
Bring Earplugs, mine are still ringing.
Variety
Sema has probably the biggest variety of car makes, styles, performance and coloring in one spot. Which is perfect for someone like myself who enjoys pretty much anything with wheels and a motor.
Here are just a few that caught my eye.
