As the anticipation grows for the new 2017 NHRA Mello Yellow Drag Racing season, starting this weekend, Motor House Media takes a look back at the 2016 Summer Nationals.
It was the 47th running at one of the NHRA’s most Historic tracks, Old Bridge Township Raceway Park.
Steve Torrence won in Top Fuel, Ron Capps in Funny Car, Greg Anderson in Pro Stock and Angelle Sampey raced to her first Pro Stock Motorcycle victory since 2007.
If you wanted to find the Force Family in the pits – John, Courtney and Brittany, just look for the crowds.
Aaah, there is nothing like the sounds and the smells of Top Fuel, especially when they warm up in the Pits.
Its such an assault on the senses, but so much fun to hear and feel them along with the burning of the eyes and nose.
