Ida Twin Turbo Tucker at Sema

Rob Ida and his Crew from Rob Ida Concepts built a beautiful Tucker in time for the 2017 Sema Show. It was on display at the Axalta Coatings Systems booth at Sema.

This wasn’t part of the original Tucker cars, but a hand built from the ground up Tucker. One with a LS Cadillac Mid Engine Motor, and a twin Turbo motor at that. It has a fiberglass and metal shell and the color was picked from a favorite dress of Mrs Tucker, Waltz Blue.

It was Rob’s personal Tucker until it was sold to Jack Kiely and the project got kicked started and finished just in time for Sema.Rob collaborated with Sean & Mike Tucker, the Great Grandsons of Preston Tucker, during the build. Sean & Mike are both deeply engrained in all things Tucker and are able to design and build some of the parts needed for this and other Tucker builds. The Tucker’s and Ida’s have formed a tight friendship and team.
