Restoring Classic Cars in the Classroom!

I saw this great story that CBS Sunday Morning did on McPherson College’s Car Restoration Program and thought it should be shared.

It’s home to the nation’s first, and only, four-year automotive restoration program.

The skills that go into restoring vintage cars and building cars are getting lost and the schools mission is to keep those trades and talents alive.

It’s good to see that they have about 160 students apply for the 60 spots that have each year. Classes taught are Automotive History, Business, art & design and tons of hands on learning welding, upholstery, mechanics.
