The Altar of the Hoonicorn
I was walking around the SemaShow early before the show opened one day and found the outside display with Ken Blocks wild Mustang the “Hoonicorn”.
The morning had nice quiet light that cast an ethereal glow on the Hoonicorn and its surroundings. I started to notice that nobody was talking and some were sitting on the benches that were in front. They were just sitting, staring at the Mustang and listening to the sermon of the Twin Turbo, 1400 HP motor and screaming tires that were being blasted on the pa system from the booth.
It was like being in some kind of crazied horsepowered church with the Hoonicorn being the central fixture. People would quietly come and go giving their respect for this amazing piece of Art.
It was the “Altar of the Hoonicorn”
