Motor House’s Camera Car was invited to show and drive in the CF Charities Super Car Show. It was an amazing experience being able to drive through filming in the streets of Philly with this amazing pack of cars.
Although, nobody told us that we were would be the leader of the pack of Supercars when they got onto 676 in Philly. And that they would unleash them at full speed past our Camera Car. I have to say there were many pucker moments as they blew past us while we were doing 90 mph! But man is was really fun too.
Motor House Media’s Ultra Arm equipped Camera Car is ready for action.
Bringing dynamic camera motion to the world of Commercial shoots, Motorsports, Films, Documentaries, Broadcast television, and variety of outlets.
This purpose built, high speed, nimble Audi Q5 has been equipped with the Ultra Arm camera crane on top with several options for professional remote heads. The Movi XL, Pro and Arri SRH3 stabilized remote heads to be exact.
It easily enables us to follow, chase, move around a vehicle or subject creating dynamic shots.
It features an interior designed for obtaining mobile footage. Each seat has several prewired and vehicle powered monitors to aid each production position in knowing where the crane is at all times and for viewing and recording the camera. Communication is done via a voice active comm system with the ability to talk with a Hero vehicle or production.
The Audi Q5 has a stage 1 tune bringing its horsepower up to around 415 and stops using Brembo brakes.
