A quick behind the scenes video showcasing our Scorpius UTV Camera Vehicle while shooting car to car driving shots of a Rob Ida built 1940 Mercury.

Scorpius was designed to be able to host a variety of shooting methods. Initially I built it to host one of our Jimmy Jib camera cranes. But I quickly realized I could make mounts for Steadicam Operators to shoot off of the front and back and also with gimbals. For these shots we went with a handheld gimbal for a quick run and gun setup.

Keep an eye out for the documentary of this 1940 Merc, which looks so good moving…well, sitting still for that matter too.
